Hello, welcome to my website
My name is Bonnie and I am an artist based in Naarm (Melbourne), I work in the artistic mediums of ceramics, multimedia sculpture, painting, and illustration. My artistic journey extends to sound art, video, and installation, granting me the means to explore the intersections of art, identity, and the environment.

My art reflects my ever-evolving journey, challenging conventions and narratives. It's an exploration of identity, the environment, and the significant role that art plays in advocating for change and understanding. I aim to inspire others to embrace their unique perspectives and make a positive impact on the world, whether through their art or their actions.

I create art that speaks to the queer experience, which strives to foster dialogue, understanding, and empowerment. Furthermore, my artistic exploration delves into the realms of surrealism and mystic horror, where the boundaries of reality are blurred with the subconscious. In these unsettling works, I weave narratives that evoke both fear and fascination, challenging our perceptions of the world.

My art is profoundly influenced by the climate crisis. I believe it is our collective responsibility to address environmental issues, and my work serves as a platform to advocate for positive change. Nature's fragility, resilience, and interdependence with humanity inspire my creations. Through various artistic mediums, I aim to shed light on the urgency of sustainability, encouraging viewers to consider their impact on our planet and the ecosystems that sustain us.

My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialisation in sculpture, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Art (Art in Public Space). This path equips me with a deeper understanding of how art can be a catalyst for change.

My artwork has found a home in both group and solo exhibitions, with showings in the vibrant art scenes of Naarm and London. Beyond my identity as an artist, I am actively engaged in the art world as a professional art technician and exhibition and events officer.
